I know many of you out there love anime. I mean, there's a whole section dedicated to them on Netflix, Amazon Prime and all those other streaming websites. However, most of them are dubbed in English, and I bet many of you diehard anime fans hate that. I know that I sometimes cringe at the whiny tones English voiceover actors give their characters. The Japanese voiceover actors, however, have absolutely delicious voices! So, it's no surprise that I love the way the language sounds of their tongue.
That's why we're learning Japanese too! During the years I obsessed over anime and all things Japanese, I lamented the fact that I couldn't understand one word in the written Japanese language, but I never really did anything about it. So, now, I decided it was time to take action, and we're going to learn it, whether you like it or not! So, get those calligraphy brushes out, we're learning Japanese
Phrase/Word Of The Month
Japanese is a very hard language, so don't be surprised if I get confused sometimes. There are many different rules and many different pitfalls you'll find yourself in, when you study the language. For now, just keep trying, and keep practicing. So, always refer back to the basics, even if you think you already know it. Chances are, you've missed something, and when you re-read the article or lesson, you'll realise that that rule was important!

It's always difficult, learning a new language, especially one that isn't Latin based. In fact, most Asian languages are hard, purely because of their writing styles, and I'm sure it's true the other way around.
So, let's keep revising, learn 日本語 together and memorise those pesky letters!
