Today’s review is another tea review! Yes, I know I said I love Birchall’s Jasmine Pearls teabags before, but I have been trying out others, since my last review, and I’d like to share with you what I think of them.
But first, if you’re interested in the Birchall’s tea review I did before, then hit up my last post:
You’ll get all the information you need there, and a discount code (if it still works)! Anyway, moving on to today’s tea review!
Who Have You Bought From This Time?
Ok, so this time I’m reviewing a brand of tea because there are loads of flavours, they have that I absolutely love! Ok, so the brand I’m talking about is…
Who are they? What teas do they do? First off, it’s a well-known luxury British tea brand. I’d say it’s the cheaper version of Fortnum and Mason (who I will talk about eventually). Why do I say that? Well, it’s because their teas are still expensive (in the double figures), but they pack more than what you’d get at Fortnum and Mason. So, they’re cheaper, considering the weight and the quality.
What Do I Like About Them?
First off, Whittard of Chelsea, or as I like to call them “Whittard”, do SO MANY DIFFERENT flavours! Not only that, but they also do hot chocolates, coffee, gift sets, tableware, and equipment, like coffee grinders and coffee presses and infusers!
What I love about Whittard is that they are focused solely on the tea and coffee industry, which as you all know, I was a part of, when I was a barista! I absolutely love my teas and coffees, and once I get a steady income again, I’ll definitely invest in good teas and coffee, because I can, and I want to!
If you want to get your tea, hot chocolate and coffee fix, head over to their website:
I absolutely love their collections, especially the tea sets…which I haven’t bought yet since I live in my parents’ house, and there is no space left for a luxury tea set that I’d use every day if I had my own place…Oh well.
Stop Stalling What Teas Do I Get?
Ok, so my favourite tea flavours, for now, are the:
I know, two of them are the same right? Wrong! The Jasmine Dragon Pearls are nothing like the standard Jasmine tea. Why? Because the pearls pack more aroma and flavour than the regular loose tea. Basically, if you want to be the next Uncle Iroh (from ATLA…check out my Fandom Corner section, if you want to get the reference), you need to get the Dragon Pearls! I’ve literally not had any other brand of jasmine tea, ever since I was first introduced to it by Birchall because it’s such a fragrant tea!
Now, the Covent Garden Blend is one of my favourite black teas so far, because of its floral and fruity (from what I remember) tones, and if you pair it with honey, light desserts, and fruits, it is an absolute dream! I highly recommend it, if you’re looking for a tea that just screams luxury and poise.
Of course, I also love the English Rose tea, thanks to my sister, who subscribes to the flavour, so we’re never out. And thank goodness for her, because if she hadn’t bought it, I would be sipping on my standard Earl Grey all day, every day, of which I would slowly start getting tired of. This one is a punch of a flavour, and I guarantee you, it’s a great tea to have with desserts or even on its own! I mean, I like to have honey with mine, just to sweeten it a little, but even then, the rose still comes out and seriously calms me down, every time I take a sip.
Have I Convinced You?
Yeah, I don’t think I have, so I dare you to try their teas. I haven’t tried their coffees yet, but as I said, once I get a steady job again, I’m definitely going to try them out too. At the moment, I’m living on Percol, which I will also review, next time. So, keep an eye out for that one too. In the meantime, if you do try out Whittard’s teas and their other drinks, let me know what you guys think of them! Which ones are your favourite?
Well, that’s it from me today, I’ll see you guys next time.
