The Cupcake Queen

Hello Everyone!

Today’s another crafting day, and we’re talking about baking this time! If you’re with me on social media, you’ll know that I’ve taken to baking cupcakes and desserts this year. Of course, it’s not just because I was unemployed, but because I wanted to develop my skills in the kitchen! Ok, so it’s not cooking, which would be even more useful, but I still live with my parents, so sue me!

So, with mom always cooking something, I thought I’d do the baking. Since she’s the one that makes the meals, I should make the desserts. So, that’s what I do! Anyway, if you’ve been keeping up, you’ll know that lately, cupcakes have been my go-to bakes. Why? It’s because they’re easy! Believe me! They’re much easier than cookies, and I don’t know why people choose to make cookies as their first bake when with cupcakes you can throw your ingredients together all at once and then bake them!

Anyway, what started me off on the cupcake train? Well, if you were here a few months ago, and scanned the “Everyone’s A Critic” section, you’ll know that it’s all because of…

Jemma from Crumbs and Doilies

Earlier in the year, when I was unemployed, and baking weekly, I wanted to try out new recipes which were easy to do and uncomplicated. And I eventually stumbled across the Crumbs and Doilies YouTube channel, where they show you recipes for some of their most popular desserts, like the Lotus Biscoff Cupcakes and the Neapolitan Cupcake. Essentially, I got hooked on cupcakes, and they became one of my favourite desserts to make. So, I ended up baking cupcakes every week!
