The Video Gallery

For those of you in the know, I'm a filmmaker at heart (I also studied for it), but my skills have lain dormant for the last few years, and I think it's time I started creating more content that uses those skills. So, you'll find below the varied videos I've made for YouTube, particularly for Feather's Charm. From travel and lifestyle videos to Sims 4 and gaming,  you'll find all my YouTube videos here. Enjoy!

Journal With Me | My Bullet Journal Journey | September

Hey guys! I know it's a little later than usual, but I've been through quite a lot of things, personally, lately and had to take a break. That's why I haven't posted any shorts or social media posts either. Don't worry, it's not all bad, but I still need to work through a few things, before I can resume my schedule again. I will still post up weekly videos (or as weekly as I can make them), and keep making content for you guys as I go. Anyway, onto this video. Today, we'll be making September's spreads, and I'm so excited! It's one of my favourite spreads out of all the ones I've done before. Why? Because of the gorgeous colours that come with the autumn season! This season is my absolute favourite because it's so full of colour. And usually, when I think about autumn, I think about coffee, spices and all things warm and snuggly. After all, with the change in season, comes the change in weather and the colder air comes through. Oh! I can't wait to snuggle up under a blanket, a good mug of hot chocolate and a cosy book! Back to the video...Yes! I do use washi tape and stickers in this one! Finally! I have previously used them before, but haphazardly. This time, I use them with some intent, and position them in ways that don't disturb the vibe I'm going for, or at least look out of place. Also, just on a side note, I use a craft blade in this video, but for those of you too young to use a blade, I say this: HAVE A SUPERVISING ADULT TO HELP YOU! I don't recommend that you use a blade without a responsible adult in the room. If anything, get them to cut your stickers, if you're going to do something similar to what I'm doing. But I do still hope that my videos inspire your bullet journal journeys too! Oh, and below you'll find all the items I used in this video: Journal Bayou (Emerald) Open Spine Book (https://www.citrusbookbindery.co.uk/shop/bayou-emerald-print-open-spine-book/) Pens Staedtler Double-Ended Fibre Tip Pens (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Staedtler-Fibre-Tip-Impression-Proof-3200-TB72/dp/B07F74GG1R/) Burnt Orange Amber Peach Brown Uniball Uni-Pin Pens Finliner Pens (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Uni-ball-Sketch-Uni-pin-fineliner-drawing/dp/B09KDB1YHZ) Washi Tape The Washi Tape Shop (https://thewashitapeshop.com/) Stickers 30pc Female Washi Tape Stickers (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1459857671/30pcs-female-washi-stickers-for) 46pcs Coffee Stickers Pack (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/821289496/46pcs-coffee-stickers-pack) Well, that's it from me today, I hope you all enjoyed this! Stitch Something | Behind The Stitch | Single Crochet

Hey guys! I'm back with another Behind The Stitch tutorial! This time, we're looking at the single crochet! It's one of the most basic stitches in the crochet dictionary, so if you want to do the more complicated stitches that you see in different patterns, then you might want to start here. In most cases, you'll find the basic crochet stitches hidden amongst the complexity of those more advanced ones, but it's always best to start at the beginning. So, let's look at what a single crochet is, and how you can create it. Also, before you start, I suggest, if you haven't seen it before, check out the first episode of this series, The Foundation Chain. It'll show you how to start off your crochet patterns and will help you understand how to start your crochet projects. I will also talk a little bit about gauge in this episode as well, and why it's important. For those of you starting out in crochet, you'll probably think you'll be able to create your own sweaters, hats and dresses. Well, before you do, you'll need to know what a gauge is, and why it's important for these types of patterns. Again, I will explain everything in more detail, on my website, featherscharm.com, so keep an eye out for that blog post, as well as a step-by-step guide on how to create a single crochet. Well, that's it from me today. I'll see you in the next tutorial, where I'll teach you how to create a single crochet! And don't forget to like, subscribe, comment, share and follow me, here on YouTube, on my social media channels and on my website! And as always, be kind, be creative, and be unique! Journal With Me | My Bullet Journal Miniseries | TV & Movies Collection And Hobbies Tracker

Hey guys! So, as you already know, I create collections that don't always adhere to the main focus of my bullet journal, so I add them to the back of the journal, to keep track of. Today's episode focuses on the TV & Movies Collection and the Hobbies Tracker I want to keep track of, in my downtime. If you know me, and my previous iterations of Feather's Charm, I am an aspiring filmmaker. I want to make TV shows and films that people want to watch, and as such, I love watching TV and film that inspires me. Of course, that means I have a long list of TV shows and movies, I need to get through. That's why, I made this collection, and as the list grows, I may need to make a second and third list, but we'll get there when we get there. The next things I want to keep track of are my hobbies. I try to practice at least one hobby so that my skills don't die, but sometimes it's hard to know which hobby to practice next if I don't keep track. So, that's why I've created this tracker. It'll help remind me to practice, whether it's for a crochet project or a watercolour doodle that I want to try out. At least I'll be able to develop these skills, one way or another. Time for the credits! Here's what I used both for the bullet journal and for the video itself! Modern Desert Retreat | A Sims 4 Stop Motion Build | No CC

Hey guys! I know it's late, but a lot of things have been happening lately, personally. I won't go into detail, it's not something I want to broadcast to the world, but it has taken over my days, for the past week and weekend, so it's just a lot to process, but I still managed to make a video for you guys! This time it's outside my comfort zone and in the wilderness (quite literally). I created a modern desert paradise, in Oasis Springs! The build was inspired by a DocuSeries I've been watching lately, called The World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals (I highly recommend you guys check it out!), and they showcase vacation rentals all around the world. I was so inspired by some of the properties that they showcased and had to build something along the lines of a vacation rental (although you can't really get that with the Sims 4). Anyway, although it's small, it's perfect for a bachelor or bachelorette, who just wants to retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life and live somewhere quiet and peaceful, where life slows down and you can take a breath. It's also great for those who like to host parties and frequently entertain guests. So, it's a win-win situation! I'm pretty proud of this build and might make something similar, in the future. Who knows! What do you guys think? Is this a Yay or Nay kind of property for you? Let me know in the comments below! Well, that's it from me today, I'll see you guys next time! And don't forget to like, subscribe and follow me, here on YouTube, on my social media channels, on my website, featherscharm.com, and on Patreon! It would really mean a lot to me if you could donate, so I can continue making content like this for you guys! And as always, be kind, be creative, and be unique. I'll see you later!
